This was bought as a gift for my husband. He loves it and have not problem with the reception.
This headset is a awesome little guy, works with your 360 and with your phone.
I bought this for my Nokia 6085. The ear bud works, I can hear the caller, but the microphone doesn't. Do more research prior to buying.
The new version of that headset (the one with the call button on it) is terrible, so I read the reviews for the Plantronic MX256-X1 and thought I'd give it a try.I didn't have a problem with the volume, but the call quality isn't the best. I used to use the Jabra "around the ear" boom for a few years and it was THE BEST. until it broke. Also, the way it has to rest in and pinch your ear is sort of distracting and it has a tendency to move around while you're talking. Maybe some people will like the price or the design of this product, but after using it a couple months I'd give it a thumbs down.
The other day I was driving at freeway speeds and it was raining hard which meant it was really noisy in the SUV. I drive an SUV with a lot of road noise. The person on the other end (someone who use to have problems hearing me while on a regular headset)said they could hear me great. When I'm on the phone using a headset, people frequently say they can't hear me well. This headset works great. I'm extremely happy with the noise-canceling microphone. Plus, the device is comfortable and easy to use.
